How Does It Work? 


A Safe Spot's CD Inventory Report Creator package uses A Safe Spots' "My Belongings" Online Inventory System to consolidate your inventory data and images into a set of attractive and easy to navigate reports.  The process is simple and straight forward:

Step 1.

Gather and enter you inventory information - Use "My Belongings" Online Inventory  System to enter your inventory information.  Upload images or documents as attachments to inventory items.  Assign warranty dates and information as needed.

Step 2.

Review and fine-tune your inventory  information - Use the online reports to ensure the information is correct and complete.  Update or add additional information as needed.

Step 3.

Generate and download the report package file - With just a few mouse clicks,  the "My Belongings" Online Inventory system generates a customized report file that you download to your local PC.

Step 4.

Create the CD - Using only the contents of the report package file just downloaded and your PC's CD writer, create your Inventory Report CD.

 
In most cases, the steps above can be accomplished in just a few hours.  Yes, you'll still need to trek through your house or small business, jot down some notes, and move a few items around in order to gather all the information you need.  But, the resulting permanent record of your personal inventory will be a priceless asset for your family or business for many years.

If you don't own a CD writer, you can store the reports on your local hard disk for quick and easy access.  Or in an emergency, e-mail or use a file transfer mechanism to quickly get the package file to someone else so that they can see the inventory reports themselves in a matter of minutes.

The report pages are composed entirely of HTML pages that can be viewed on any PC system that supports a web browser.  For IBM compatible PC's, the report CD uses the "autorun" feature to automatically start and display the report index when a the CD is inserted into the CD drive.
