How to Get Started  

 

To start using A Safe Spots "My Belongings" Online Inventory System, you must sign up or enroll. 

Select "Enroll Today" or "Signup" from any of the pages

The enrollment process will take you through four quick screens:

1. Basic Information - Enter your name, email address, referrer code (if applicable) and promo code (if applicable). This information will be used to email you your login and password information.
2. Select the one year or three year plan - Review the Terms of Use and the billing amount.
3. Billing Information - Enter your billing address and credit card information.  Note that this information is stored in an encrypted format and is completely secure.
4. Summary/Confirmation - A summary screen will be displayed showing a summary of the selections.  No charges or actions will be initiated until you agree to the this screen.


Once you have enrolled, an email will be sent to you with your login ID and password information.  Upon completion of the enrollment you will be presented with the "Congratulations Screen", you can login on this screen or access www.aSafeSpot.com  and enter given information to login and start using A Safe Spots' "My Belongings" Online Inventory System.


A Safe Spot provides detailed information to help you understand how to enter, maintain, produce reports and create your own CDs.

Tour - Take the tour to become familiar with the overall functionality of "My Belongings" Online Inventory System. 

Online Help -  Once you login to A Safe Spots' "My Belongings" Online Inventory System you have access to context-sensitive online help.  From any screen, you can select the Help Button which is located on the upper right hand corner of each screen and get specific instruction on the current screen.  The help screens are divided into several sub-categories:

What is? - Describes the current screen you're at and its purpose. 

How Do I..? - Are a series of questions that relate to the current screen.  When you click on the question, screens will walk you through how to perform the task.  For example:  How Do I enter a Belonging?.

Moving..- Is used to assist you with navigating through A Safe Spot's Online Home Inventory. 

Help Index - Is a list of all items including the How Do I.? and terminology definitions.

Quick Start - Once you login to A Safe Spots' "My Belongings" Online Inventory System, you will be presented with the Information Center Summary Screen.  From this screen you can select the "Quick Start Guide" which will walk you through the steps in setting up your inventory depending upon the types of tools you're using (digital camera, scanner or neither).
